CIRCLE CHALLENGES
We kick off the summit with our ‘Circle Team Challenges,’ delivered over three separate 25-minute sessions. The sessions consist of 10 tables of 8-10 attendees, including sponsors and industry leaders.
The challenge tables will be labelled with a specific industry challenge. Pre-event, all guests will choose 3 of the challenges that are most interesting and relevant to them. During each session, the group of like-minded attendees will work together to find a solution and potential business impact.
09:15 - 09:40
Circle Challenge Session 1
1. Managing the energy puzzle
Do you understand the systemic logic of energy management?
Are you able to identify the root causes of poor energy performance?
Can you bring out concrete solutions at the company level?
Join a collective challenge to initiate or strengthen an energy strategy.
Hosted by: Nadège Richard, Head of Operations America, Metron
2. What’s blocking decarbonisation in real terms?
Many companies have set bold decarbonisation goals for 2030 — but halfway through the decade, progress remains slow. Now is the time to reassess, identify what’s holding us back, recalibrate our strategies, and accelerate efforts for the second half. To do so, we must first understand the real-world blockers to decarbonisation.”
Hosted by: Thomas Stehli, Director, Strategy & Implementation, and Head of Business Development, ENGIE

6. Hidden savings, untapped credit: Making surplus equipment traceability count in Scope 3 strategies
While Scope 3 emissions are a growing priority, many manufacturers overlook the impact of surplus and idle equipment on waste and CO₂e reduction. Without systems to track, redeploy, or resell these assets, sustainability teams miss out on tangible, reportable contributions to circularity and carbon mitigation. This roundtable explores how internal disconnects and lack of traceability hinder progress, and what needs to change to unlock hidden value in existing operations.
Hosted by: Ben Potenza, Managing Director – Services, EquipNet, USA

Hosted by: Ana Ferreira Tavares, Systems and Governance Global Director for Environment, Health & Safety and Sustainability, Aptiv
8. How can I prove Vision AI drives safer habits & behavioural change?
Health and safety issues often significantly raise labor costs through injuries and absenteeism, as well as disrupting production and increasing insurance, legal risks and compliance expenses. How can you prove that Vision AI can drive behaivoural change and improve your safety culture?
Hosted by: Nico Klingler, Co-Founder, Viso.ai
9. Eco by design: Can sustainability start at the drawing board?
Hosted by: John O’Maoileoin, Group Global Sustainability Director, Canpack
